If you plan on getting drunk and out of control at an NFL game - there is going to be consequences.

They are putting The code of conduct with guidelines for game day behavior

The code of conduct will apply at every venue where professional or college sports are played.

Every professional sports league has a fan code of conduct and teams have their own policies.

The council created a task force to issue guidelines for fan behavior when it became a major issue after the beating of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow at Dodger Stadium last year.

The code addresses security and safety issues but also urges fans to refrain from disruptive and unruly behavior.

The guidelines include no swearing, no fighting and no throwing objects or drinks. People who violate the code could be ejected or arrested.

There are rumors that if this all works out, venues across the country will start doing the same thing.

If your behavior gets you ejected from the stadium, you will need to complete a "Fan Conduct Class" in order to ever go to another NFL game again. The online course costs $75 and is developed by the AJ Novick Group, Inc., which bills itself "a leading provider of anger management, corporate programs and certificate training."

Here are the details FanConductClass.com

This four-hour class will cover the following topics:

What is disruptive fan behavior?

How alcohol affects the brain, central nervous system and internal organs

Skills for becoming less impulsive and improving judgment

Communication skills as prevention

Our Certificate of Completion comes on an official form.

This is no doubt a document you will want to frame and display prominently in your home or business right alongside your Harvard diploma, bragging to all who see it: “I have learned the minimal skills required to not be a drunken idiot in front of 50,000 people!”
