TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - It was just a couple of months ago that the Southwest Florida Water Management District imposed tighter water restrictions with once-a-week lawn watering rules.
But we've been getting a lot of rain, more than expected.
So, this weekend, on March !st, those restrictions change back to twice-a-week lawn watering for the Bay Area, including Tampa and Hillsborough County.
Water regulators say ground water and river levels are good.
Addresses ending in 7,8 or 9 can irrigate their lawns Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Addresses ending in 4,5 or 6 can turn on the sprinklers Tuesdays and Fridays.
Addresses ending in zero through three can water their lawns Mondays and Thursdays.
