Vacant House Burns in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla (970 WFLA)- Tampa Fire Rescue  units were dispatched to the report of a structure fire at 2306 North Nebraska  Avenue.

On arrival Tampa Fire Rescue units found a two story wood-frame structure with heavy fire showing on one side of the home. Tampa Fire crews made entry through the rear of the home. Once inside the fire became too  intense, forcing fire fighters to back out and begain to attack the fire from outside of the structure. It took Tampa Fire Rescue crews approximately two  hours to contain the blaze.

Approximately 45 Tampa Fire rescue responders were on scene of this fire. Tampa Fire Marshal investigators are  investigating the cause and origin of the fire. No damage estimates have been given at this time.

There were no civilian or firefighter injuries reported.
