(Seminole, FLA - WFLA) The City of Seminole Fire Rescue Department says an SUV crashed into a convenience store Thursday morning after being forced off Seminole Boulevard by another vehicle.
The sport utility vehicle, driven of Kelly Kupfer, of Largo, was on Seminole Boulevard when it was forced off the road by another vehicle, which was swerving in and out of traffic.
Kupfer lost control and crashed into the corner of Tran’s Mini Mart, at 5050 Seminole Blvd. She refused medical care at the scene. No one was inside the store during the crash.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office says deputies caught the driver of the other vehicle. She's been cited for careless driving.
The convenience store is closed for the day as building officials from the city of Seminole assess structural damage.
