TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Bucs head coach Greg Schiano says he's frustrated, too.
The team is now 0-5 for the season, having just lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, 31-20.
"I understand we're disappointing a lot of people. This is a community--an area that is passionate about their team," said Schiano during a Monday afternoon news conferance at One Buc Place.
One thing on the minds of Bucs players--MRSA. The staph infection has affected three players and the team says it has taken measures to disinfect the locker room and practice facility. But Schiano hopes that doesn't continue to be a distraction.
And he promises the fans that things will get better, on and off the field.
"If they can hang in there, we're gonna be good. And if they can't, we're still gonna be good. And then they're welcome back. And I'm not being smart. I mean that. I think our fans are great.....and at the end of the game, I'm disappiointed just like they are."
