Mother Of Polk County Bullying Case Suspect Arrested

BARTOW, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd says Vivian Vosberg has been formally charged with child abuse with bodily harm and four counts of child neglect.

Vosberg is the step-mother of 14-year-old Guadalupe Shaw who was arrested this week in connection with the cyberbullying of a 12-year-old girl who took her own life last month.

Judd says his department was alerted to a video on Facebook that shows Vosberg continually hitting a small boy who was rough housng with a another boy. All of this going on while several girls were in the room laughing and egging Vosberg on.

The Polk County Sheriff's office insists this latest arrest has nothing to do with the bullying case.
