Bucs promise new concession stands, 4 new bars at RayJay

TAMPA, Fla. (TBO.com) - No one knows whether the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will beat last year’s 4-12 record this season, but the team is promising that at least the food will be better.

The Buccaneers on Monday announced the organization is spending $7 million to overhaul the concession stands at Raymond James Stadium. The work, which is already underway, should be done by mid-July, before pre-season games begin in August.

As part of the project, all 14 concession stands in the main concourse will be replaced, as will the food preparation equipment. The Buccaneers say the new concession areas will be larger, better-equipped and feature a “fresh, new look.’’
